It was reported that the ceasefire declared in the context of the conflict in Syria has been extended for another 15 days. With the extension of the ceasefire, a humanitarian aid corridor to Ayn al-Arab was opened.

IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation Search and Rescue and Disaster Management units continued to strengthen disaster preparedness and response capacity throughout 2025 with training, operations and cooperation activities carried out both domestically and internationally. A total of 4,249 activities were carried out throughout the year, directly benefiting 73,604 people, with 41,492 volunteers and staff actively participating in the activities.
