A group of female volunteers in Bahrain organized a large-scale aid campaign to help Somali people who have been fighting against the worst drought and hunger of the past years. The volunteers presented the financial donations collected as part of this campaign to the IHH.

There are plans to open a water well in Somalia and deliver food relief to Somali people with the donations from Bahrain. The IHH volunteers in Bahrain did not forget to make orphans happy and presented them with new clothes.

A nine-member team from the “Promise Africa Bahrain” group joined the IHH teams at Dadab camp to help drought victims. The youths in the group who saw the tragedy at the camp with their own eyes, said: “The 72 hours we spent at Dadaab have made our life worth of living.”
