We have seen that the IHH reaches out to the poor in all corners of the world and extends a helping hand to them. So, five people from my family decided to donate sacrificial animals to the IHH this year. We also recommended the people in our surroundings to have their qurban be slaughtered by the IHH, they did the same.

According to Islam, the meat of the sacrificial animal should be divided into three shares, one third for the poor, another for the neighbors a third for the household. Thanks Allah, both we and our neighbors in a good financial situation for the time being. So, we thought it is better to make qurban donations to the IHH and send all the meat to the people in need.

If more than one person affords to sacrifice an animal in the same house, the meat of this animal should go to the brothers and sisters away, certainly through the hands of trustworthy institutions. The IHH proved its competence in this regard during the War of Bosnia. How can one find a more trustworthy institution than the IHH to make a qurban donation when the IHH gave victims for the sake of taking the goods entrusted to them on the Mavi Marmara to the needy people of Gaza?
