'We will never surrender'

“This war will not end until embargo is lifted and all border crossings are opened. We will never abandon our positions,” senior Hamas politician Abu Haris Mustafa said during Palestine Solidarity Night in Turkey and praised the way Turkish PM slashed Israeli leader at Davos.

The Palestine Solidarity Night that was organized by Human and Civilization Movement (HCM) at Abdi İpekçi Sports Hall drew a large turnout.

The attendants frequently shouted slogans in favor of Hamas and condemned Israel.

The program started with a video slide about Gaza that came under heavy Israeli strikes several weeks ago and continued with a concert by Group Genç. Fund was raised for Gaza at the end of the program and the money was handed to the IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation.

The attendants expressed their concern for the conflicts in the Islamic world and Gaza in particular in a pray recited by Ömer Döngeloğlu.

Delivering the opening speech at the night, HCM President İkram Soltan indicated the significance of Gaza to the Islamic world.

IHH President Bülent Yıldırım delivered a speech after Soltan. Yıldırım gave account of his stay in Gaza and said: “A member of almost every Gazan family was killed. Although they lost their family members and homes to the attacks, the morale of the Gazan people is quite high. Tears of Gazan children are worth seeing. Gaza is the land of the martyr.

"Palestine resisted and won. It is time we help the Palestinian people. We must rebuild Gaza. The IHH donated $2,000 to each of the 2,000 families whose houses were destroyed and €1,000 to the families of the Palestinians killed. We extended cash donations to the affected families so that they could rent houses until they build new houses.

"Gaza is where Jews, Zionism were defeated. Gaza is the fortress of victory."

Hamas won the war

Hamas politician drew attention to the honorable resistance of the Gazan people despite all hardships the region had been going through.

He said: "A great humanitarian tragedy occurred in Gaza that caused bloodletting. But we did not surrender; we stand upright now. The people of Gaza resisted and remained patient and achieved an honorable victory. Hamas won this war. The people of Turkey have a share in this victory. Tattered bodies of Palestinian infants defeated the Zionists.

"Gaza belongs to us all, the Gazan people resisted for us and will continue to resist."

War is not over

"War is not over yet," Mustafa said, adding "The borders of Gaza are sealed. Embargo is ongoing unabated. This war will not end until embargo is lifted and Rafah border gate is wide open."

Hamas member stated Muslims were resisting and fighting to pray at Masjid al-Aqsa freely one day.

Erdogan's move appreciated

Slating Israeli Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni in his speech, Hamas official said:

"An Israeli war criminal was saying we should attack Gaza again and teach the Gazan people a lesson. God damn woman, just as Gazan children taught you a lesson, PM of Turkey taught your masters an unforgettable lesson at Davos. Concern of people of Turkey trembles your hearts, as Turkish PM trembled the heart of war criminal, liar and fraudulent Shimon Peres."

Israel aware of its war crimes

He said: "Lawsuits are filed worldwide against Israel for crimes of war it has perpetrated. Israeli oppressors are scared, because they know they are guilty.

I want to share my feelings here. The donations you sent to us through aid agencies are more valuable to us than our demolished homes. We know your donations are halal.

They are not dirty like the money that went to some other.

They tried to buy us with their dollars; they offered bribe. May Allah be our witness we as your Gazan brothers and sisters will never surrender. We are believers. Gaza is a sacred land. We will not flee our positions.

Israel and its collaborators lost

A war was waged in Gaza that revealed who is on whose side. In this war, the oppressor United States, the infidel Europe, certain collaborator Arab states and unfortunately certain Palestinian fractions took the side of Israel. Qatar, Syria, Sudan and Turkey took the side of resistance.

Those who took the side of Israel were embarrassed. They tasted defeat. Those who took the side of the Gazan people came out of this war dignified."
