IHH does not forget orphans at Ramadan, either

Thousands of children are orphaned every day in the world due to disasters, poverty, health problems and wars. The IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation which cares for orphans through its “Sponsor Family Project,” has not forgotten the orphans at Ramadan, either. Since the beginning of Ramadan, the IHH has conducted relief efforts for orphans in 34 countries and regions and 25 provinces in Turkey. IHH teams that travel to different parts of the world to take Ramadan relief visit the orphans in the countries they go and provide them with new clothes and school supplies.

Thanks to its “Sponsor Family System,” the IHH cares for 18,864 orphans across 31 countries and regions in the world through monthly donations. The foundation also establishes orphanages in many parts of the world. The IHH which prioritizes relief efforts for orphans at Ramadan aims to support the orphans until the time they can stand on their own two feet.

IHH puts a smile on the faces of 5,000 orphans in Palestine and 600 orphans in Somalia

As part of the Ramadan relief efforts, the IHH has put a smile on the faces of 5,000 orphans in Palestine, 600 orphans in Somalia, 500 orphans in Ethiopia and 300 orphans in Afghanistan by providing them with new clothes and stationery supplies for the Eid. The IHH aid teams still provide clothing and stationery supplies to the orphans in countries such as Iraq, Macedonia, Kashmir and Mongolia.

A total of 1,392 orphans in countries which have recently been added to the Sponsor Family Project, being mainly those suffering from drought such as Iraq, Palestine, Ethiopia, Sudan and Sierra Leone, wait for support from charity givers. As the IHH’s relief efforts for orphans continue in 34 countries and regions and 25 provinces in Turkey, charity givers will be able put a smile on the faces of the orphans by making donations. The amount of donation for new Eid clothes is TL70, for stationery supplies is TL25 and TL15 for Ramadan gift package.
