Cankiri Holds Charity Sale for Palestine
Volunteers in Cankiri have organized a charity sale to support “Palestine Our Route, Humanitarian Aid Our Load” campaign. The funds raised through the sale will be transferred to Palestine.

Cankiri, a city in the heart of Anatolian peninsula, is home to a charity sale for supporting the flotilla campaign which will deliver humanitarian aid to Gaza. Mithat Kilic, Deputy Mayor of Cankiri Municipality, Vise Mayor Tuncay Haskilic, Assoc. Prof. Koksal Buyuk, Vice Dean of The Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences in Karatekin University, Hasan Kale, representative of IHH (The Foundation For Human Rights and Freedoms and Humanitarian Relief) volunteers in Cankiri and numerous guests from the general public have joined the opening ceremony for the charity sale which is held in the municipal fairgrounds.

Hasan Kale noted that the funds raised through the charity sale will be donated to the aid campaign for Palestine. Kale also stated that the people of Cankiri will take part in this campaign which has become the voice of conscience for humanity. The charity sale will be on for three days.
