Afghan orphans to no longer feel cold
As part of its winter relief activities in Afghanistan, IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation has delivered winter clothes to 635 orphans more »

Thousands of children are orphaned every day in the world by wars, natural disasters, poverty or health problems. A total of 5 million children were orphaned by the war in Iraq alone. Internal conflicts, poverty and insufficiency of medical services are the main factors behind the growing number of orphans in Africa. Damage caused by natural disasters in countries such as Pakistan, Aceh and Bangladesh both increases the number of orphans and makes life difficult for them. The biggest threats faced by orphans are human traffickers, organ smugglers and prostitution mafia. The amount of monthly donation to be a sponsor family of an orphan is 35 € or 50 $. Charity givers who would like to be a sponsor family for a orphan in any of the countries the IHH carries out orphan relief activities can fill out the Sponsor Family Application Form on our website, by visiting the IHH headquarters or by telephone and send it to the IHH’s Orphan Care Unit.
