IHH HUMANITARIAN RELIEF FOUNDATION - PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION

GENERAL DISCLOSURE TEXT

IHH HUMANITARIAN RELIEF FOUNDATION, which provides humanitarian aid in war-torn regions, natural disaster-affected areas, and impoverished countries and regions, demonstrates its sensitivity in the sector regarding personal data security. With this awareness, the Personal Data Protection Law No.6698, the secondary regulations (regulations, communiqués, circulars), and the binding Personal Data Protection Board have taken the private and general personal data of our visitors in all types of media, and We attach great importance to its processing, preservation, and deletion in accordance with the decisions to be taken. We process your personal information with the awareness of this responsibility, as defined by law, as explained below and within the limits prescribed by legislation, under the name "Data Supervisor" as defined by law.

  1. INFORMATION ABOUT THE DATA SUPERVISOR

  1. PURPOSES OF PROCESSING PERSONAL DATA

IHH, which conducts humanitarian aid activities in war-torn regions, disaster areas, and impoverished countries and regions, must process personal data both when fulfilling its legal obligations directly and when providing these obligations and services indirectly. To comply with its provisions and;

  • To fulfill our obligations specified in the Occupational Health and Safety Law No. 6331 and the second regulations issued under this Law,
  • To fulfill our obligations stated in the Personal Data Protection Law No.6698 and the second regulations issued under this Law,
  • The Foundation Cultural Property Tender Regulation dated 09.2008
  • Providing the information required by relevant public institutions and organizations, judicial or administrative judicial authorities and law enforcement agencies,

within the limits specified in the Code, in accordance with the law, in accordance with the rules of honesty and always in connection with these purposes, in a limited and measured manner.

  1. TRANSFER OF PERSONAL DATA

Within the scope of the above-mentioned purposes, your personal data may be transferred to real and legal persons authorized by law, other authorized public institutions and organizations, judicial and administrative judicial authorities, law enforcement agencies, Institutions and organizations, authorities and relevant ministries related to humanitarian aid activities, and humanitarian associations with the same purpose, as well as outsourced consultancy, technology, and services.

  1. COLLECTION METHODS OF PERSONAL DATA AND LEGAL REASONS

Your personal data is collected in verbal, written or electronic format by real or legal persons authorized by IHH, by means of e-mail, telephone, internet site, various contracts, forms and reports kept in paper form, by automatic and non-automatic methods.

These types of private and general personal data are processed in accordance with paragraphs 2 / a-c-ç-e-f of Article 5 of the Law and paragraph 3 of Article 6, provided that it does not harm your fundamental rights and freedoms and based on the legal grounds of IHH's legitimate interests.

Apart from the data types listed above, your general and personal data, such as membership information of volunteers to associations and foundations, membership information for non-governmental organizations and social media account information, will be collected and processed within the scope of articles 5/1 and 6/2 of the Law. In this sense, the explicit consent text signed by you will be an integral part of the clarification text.

5.RIGHTS OF DATA OWNERS UNDER THE LAW

Whenever you want, by applying to the IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation, you can recieve information about your personal data;

  • You can learn whether it has been processed, its purpose of processing and whether it has been used in accordance with its purpose, and if it has, it can request information about it
  • You can learn the third parties with whom your information is shared domestically and abroad in accordance with the Law,
  • If you think your information is incomplete or incorrectly processed, you can request correction,
  • Request deletion or destruction of your information within the framework of the conditions stipulated in article 7 of the Law,
  • You may request that third parties to whom your information is transferred be notified of your requests specified in subparagraphs (c) and (d) and perform the same actions,
  • You can object to the emergence of a result against you due to the analysis of your information with automated systems, or if you think that it has been recorded or used illegally and you have suffered damage for this reason, you can request the removal of the damage.

If your application for these purposes requires an additional cost, you will be required to pay the fee determined by the Communiqué on Application Procedures and Principles issued by the Personal Data Protection Board. If your application is answered in written form, no fee will be charged until the first 10 (ten) pages, and a transaction fee of 1 TL will be charged for each page above 10 (ten) pages. If the answer to your application is given in a recorded form such as CD or flash memory, you will be charged the cost of the recording.

Your requests in your application will be concluded as soon as possible and within 30 (thirty) days at the latest, depending on the form of the request.

In order to benefit from your rights within the scope of the law, you can send your applications to IHH in written form in Turkish and visit the website of the Personal Data Protection Authority for detailed information.

You can submit your application via one of these methods:

  1. After completing the form at here,  a wet signed copy of this it can be submitted personally or through a notary to “Büyük Karaman Cad. Taylasan Sk. No: 3 34083 Fatih / İstanbul ”.
  2. Filling out the form on here and signing with your "secure electronic signature under the Electronic Signature Law No.5070, then sending the secure electronic signed form to the address insani@hs01.kep.tr via registered e-mail.

In the application, containing your explanations regarding the right you have as a personal data owner and that you will make to exercise your rights stated above; your request should be clear and understandable, if the subject you request is related to your person or if you are acting on behalf of someone else, you will need to submit your special power of attorney certified by a notary public in this regard.

It is obligatory to specify your name-surname, signature, T.C. Identification number, residence or workplace address, e-mail address, telephone and fax number, the subject of the request in tyour application in accordance with the "Communiqué on the Principles and Procedures of Application to the Data Controller". Applications that do not contain these elements will be rejected by IHH.

IHH always reserves the right to amend this disclosure text for reasons arising from the Law, secondary regulations and Board decisions. The changes to be made in the disclosure text and the updated text will gain validity immediately as of the date you receive a notification.
