Mass protests in Turkey against Egypt death sentences
Mass demonstrations across Turkey were organized to protest an Egyptian court's decision to sentence 683 Muslim Brotherhood supporters.

 Yalova

Yalova Humanitarian Relief Association protested an Egyptian court's decision to sentence 683 anti-coup protestors to death.

In the protest held in front of Yalova Central Mosque, people shouted slogans against coup d'etat. Making a statement on behalf of the people in the protest, Sabri Kan said that Egyptian people who have been resisting the coup for a long time will not resign themselves to the oppression.

Bolu

Bolu Human Rights and Service Association organized a protest in the mucicipality square in Bolu. Memur-Sen Bolu Branch, Bolu Office of Anatolian Youth Association and AK Party Bolu Youth Branch supported the protest and people held banners against the coup d'etat and shouted slogans in support of Mohamed Morsi, the first elected president of Egypt.

Afyonkarahisar

In Bolvadin district of Afyonkarahisar, people protested Egyptian court's decision of death sentence for anti-coup protestors in the rain.

Many people attended to the protest organized by Afyonkarahisar Humanitarian Relief Association and Association Dissemination Bolvadin Branch despite the rain. Bolvadin Mayor Fatih Kayacan said that many people have been in pain in prisons in Egypt and many parents lost their children to death.

Mentioning that many people there have been waiting for the dismissal of the death sentence decisions, Kayacan said ¨May Allah bestow upon our brothers there an immediate victory. Our brothers in Egypt will reach a victory God willing and Muslims will absolutely win through.¨

Düzce 

IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation, DIYAR-DER and Düzce Branch of Young MUSIAD protested the death sentence decisions in Egypt in front of Cedidiye Mosque. Making a statement on behalf of the protesters, Düzce IHH Vice President Osman Altundal said that it is quite questionable that many people were sentenced to death in a very short time in rapid trials in Egypt.

Burdur

Burdur Branch of IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation organized a protest in Burdur Cumhuriyet Park. People shouted anti-coup slogans in the protest.

Adıyaman

20 NGOs including Memur-Sen Adıyaman Branch, Anatolian Youth Association Adıyaman Branch and AK Parth Youth Branch protested the death sentence decisions in Egypt in the protest organization held by Adıyaman IHH in Demokrasi Park in Adıyaman.

Konya

Some NGOs and IHH-AYDER members gathered in Kültürpark in Konya to protest the death sentence decisions. Making a statement on behalf of the protesters, chief executive officer of NGOs in Konya, Latif Selvi said that people will come together in order to end the oppression of the tyrants as it was that day.

Kahramanmaraş

Members of Kahramanmaraş IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation protested the death sentence decisions given for anti-coup people in Egypt.

Making a statement on behalf of the group Yusuf Bülbül said that these death sentence decisions are against humanity and the law.

Bülbül called all conscientious people to take action in order to support Egyptian people. Pointing out the rapidness of the death sentence decisions which will put an end to many people's lives, Bülbül said:

¨After a few trials in which they don't even let these people to use their rights of defense, they gave these indifferent decisions. In both trials they didn't let people to defense themselves even for show. Some activists who fled out of the country were sentenced to death in their absence without defending themselves. And the Egyptian court didn't even feel the need to explain the intemperance of the decisions.¨

Şanlıurfa

In the protest organized by the Şanlıurfa IHH, many people prayed for Egypt, Syria and Palestine coming together for night prayer in Topçu Square.

People holding anti-coup banners, shouted slogans in support of Mohamed Morsi.

Making a statement on behalf of the protesters, Ali Acar said that Egyptian people will not resign themselves to the oppressions.

Sakarya

In the protest organized by Sakarya IHH Humanitarian Relief Association in front of Adapazarı Cultural Center, holding banners against coup d'etat, protesters shouted slogans against the coup and in favor of Morsi.

The president of Sakarya IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation Ruhi Ademoğlu said that after the coup on 3rd of July, the court of the coup d'etat in Egypt gave two so called legal decisions more. Pointing out that many anti-coup people were killed in the mosques for all the world to see, Ademoğlu said that soon afterwards other anti-coup activists were sentenced to death in a few trials.

Amasya

The death sentence decisions were protested in Yavuz Selim Square in Amasya. In the protest organized by Volunteers Organizations Platform, a representative from Özgür-Der Amasya Branch made a statement on behalf of the platform. Afterwards in the program, Fatih Akgül recited the Qur'an and read it's meaning.

Çorum

Members of some NGOs in Çorum protested death sentence decisions given for anti-coup people in Egypt.

Members of ¨Solidarity Platform with Egyptian Muslims¨, IHH Çorum Branch, Özgür-Der, İlke-Der and Eğitim-Bir-Sen came together in Hürriyet Square. Shouting slogans as ¨Muslim, Don't sleep, do something about your brothers¨,  ¨The dictators will lose, Islamic resistance will win¨ and making ¨rabia sign¨, the protestors condemned the death sentence decisions for anti-coup people in Egypt.

Nevşehir
In Nevşehir, approximately 200 people protested the death sentence decisions for anti-coup people in Egypt. The protesters burned the posters of Sisi and recited Qur'an and prayed for the people killed there.

Pointing out that the court sentenced 683 people to death including the Supreme Guide of the Muslim Brotherhood Mohamed Bedie, Alkan called on all conscientious people to take action in order to condemn these decisions that are against humanity and law and in order to support victimized Egyptian people.
