"A march to Remember Gaza" was organized in Istanbul by the Foundation for Humanitarian Relief (IHH) and the International Freedom Flotilla Coalition (FFC). The march started at Beyazıt Square and ended at Ayasofya Mosque Square.

The International Freedom Flotilla Coalition held a press conference regarding the flotilla that will set sail to deliver Humanitarian aid to Gaza. Speaking at the conference, Huwaida Araf from Us Boat to Gaza stated, "The Freedom Flotilla Movement, with the support of millions of people, has prepared to sail on this journey due to the silence and inaction in the face of the massacre that has been taking place in Gaza over the past six months." Ann Wright from Us Boat to Gaza also mentioned, "Preparations are ongoing, and we will inform the public about the departure date in the very near future."

A humanitarian aid ship prepared jointly by IHH and Kuwait Society for Relief has set sail from Mersin Port with 907 tons of various aid for the people of Gaza.

IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation provides iftar meals to 60,000 people in Syria during the first 20 days of Ramadan.

Bülent Yıldırım, the President of the Humanitarian Relief Foundation (IHH), inspected two purchased ships for the International Freedom Flotilla. Yıldırım stated, "This cargo ship has a capacity of 5,500 tons and its name is Anadolu. It will carry our country's aid and compassion to Gaza. The name of other ship is Vicdan (Conscience). This ship will accommodate conscientious activists from around the world and deliver the conscience of the world to the shores of Gaza."

IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation’s “Goodness withstands the cold” winter campaign has distributed supplies such as coal, blankets, mattresses, food parcels, coats and boots to 15.744 families in north Syria.

The International Coordination Mechanism for Food Security Sector regards IHH as the top three international organizations in terms of daily hot meal and bread distribution in Gaza. Together with the World Food Program (WFP), we offer iftar meals to 48 thousand people every day this Ramadan.

IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation will carry out aid activities in 60 countries, including Türkiye, during the coming month of Ramadan. IHH aims to reach 3.5 million people through the distribution of iftar meals, zakat, fitr (alms), fidya (ransom), food packages, and Eid clothing Under the slogan "Call for Ramadan Brotherhood".

IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation held a press conference regarding the preparations for the International Freedom Flotilla, which aims to break the siege in Gaza, establish a ceasefire, and deliver humanitarian aid to the city. IHH president Bülent Yıldırım stated, 'We are purchasing ships, and the number of ships will not be less than that of the Mavi Marmara. Our goal is for the ships to set sail by the end of March.'

IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation held a press conference on the anniversary of the February 6 earthquakes. IHH President Bülent Yıldırım stated, "An expected earthquake in the Marmara region could affect 40 million people. I call on all NGOs. We need to give special importance to search and rescue operations. If such an earthquake occurs in the Marmara region, it will have a greater impact than the earthquake that occurred on February 6."

Throughout the year, the IHH delivered 1,658 truckloads of humanitarian aid, weighing a total of 42,000 tons, to war-affected civilians living in various regions of Syria.

The IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation continued its support for orphans in 2023, providing assistance to hundreds of thousands of orphans and their families. IHH reached over 137,000 orphans every month in 45 countries, including Turkey, through the regular contributions of generous donors. The foundation operated 42 orphanages, 1 orphan education center, and 1 educational campus in 12 countries, touching the lives of hundreds of thousands of children through various projects.

Representatives of the Emmaus International Solidarity Forum (MFS-Emmaus), operating in Bosnia and Herzegovina, visited the IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation. During the visit, a cooperation protocol and an operational project contract were signed for the El-Yasemin Orphanage in Syria's Idlib region.

Thanks to IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation’s humanitarian diplomacy efforts, Hind Yusuf (7), who had been living in IHH’s orphanage in Jarabulus, Syria, has been reunited with her family.

IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation inaugurated 33 structures in 12 different countries in 2023. The foundation constructed 488 houses as part of its shelter projects for war victims and those in need in Syria, Afghanistan, Moro, and Pakistan.
